Greetings from the Emergency Medicine Association of Tanzania I feel honoured to have this opportunity to be the first President of the EMAT. Since the first day that the idea to start this association came to mind, I have seen nothing less than the hard work, determinations and sacrifices made by physicians and nurses working day and night to deliver a quality emergency medical care to all our patients.
The formation of this Association opens a new chapter in the expansion of Emergency Medicine across Tanzania. This is however not possible without the help from all the stakeholders in outside Tanzania. So I call upon all of us who are involved in delivering the emergency Medical Care to collaborate with EMAT, and to allow EMAT’s members to make sure that all the goals of EMAT are met.
Our organization is growing and with that, we are focusing on regional expansion and membership growth. Please do not hesitate to communicate with me or any of the EXCO members.
